The new TUG-FL1 fairlead is designed to make using your portable capstan winch  easier and safer. The fairlead guides the rope and  removes lateral strain from the winch. A fairlead is especially helpful  when you use your winch for high-angled pulls.  The fairlead provides a safety factor preventing the rope from sliding off the end of the capstan when pulling from high angles. If using our rope you must first remove the carabiner to enable the rope to pass through the fairlead. Please follow the 4 steps illustrated.
